On November 30, the 1st National Conference of Food Biotechnology was hosted in Guangzhou. This Conference was hosted by six institutions including Guangzhou University and Chinese Society of Biotechnology and its theme was Biotechnology Drives Innovation of Food Science and Technology. In the Conference, important scientific topics in food health and the latest research results of food biotechnology were discussed. Participants also analyzed the development trend of food biotechnology and how to push forward food technology innovation with biotechnology. Professor Qu Shaobing, Chairman of Guangzhou University Council attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
